Before the booth, Clip was better known around Los Santos for his work as a barber. DJing started as little more than a hobby after DJ Dixon showed him the basics, giving him his first introduction to working the decks.

At first, he had no plans to take it much further. While working part-time around several of the city's clubs, Clip became the emergency option — someone who could step behind the decks and cover when a DJ couldn't make a set. Those occasional nights gave him the chance to develop his own style, confidence and understanding of a crowd.

After spending some time away from the city, Clip returned with a different outlook. What had once been a side hobby has now become a much bigger part of his life, with DJing becoming his full-time focus.

Blending tech house, house and club sounds, Clip is now building his name through live sets, club appearances and original music — taking something that started as emergency cover and seeing just how far he can take it.
